INDUSTRY SOLUTION: OIL & GAS
Manufacturing for Extreme Environments
The oil and gas industry operates under some of the most demanding conditions on Earth. We manufacture the high-strength, high-pressure, and corrosion-resistant components required for exploration, drilling, and production.
Custom Components for Upstream and Downstream
Downhole Tools
We machine components for MWD/LWD tools, sensors, and drilling motors from high-strength, non-magnetic materials that can withstand extreme pressures and temperatures.
Valves, Pumps & Flow Control
Create custom valve bodies, pump housings, flanges, and fittings from corrosion-resistant alloys like Stainless Steel 316L and Inconel.
Subsea Equipment
We manufacture components for ROVs, subsea connectors, and hydraulic systems from materials like Titanium and PEEK that can withstand deep-sea pressures and saltwater corrosion.
Materials for Harsh Environments
Material selection is paramount in the oil and gas industry.
- Stainless Steel (316L, 17-4 PH): Provides excellent general corrosion resistance for a wide range of components. 17-4 PH offers very high strength through heat treatment.
- Inconel 718: A nickel superalloy used for critical components that must resist corrosion from sour gas (H2S) and maintain strength at very high temperatures.
- Titanium: Offers complete immunity to saltwater corrosion and an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, ideal for subsea and lightweight tool applications.
- PEEK & Teflon (PTFE): High-performance plastics used for seals, insulators, and components that require excellent chemical resistance and low friction.
Oil & Gas Manufacturing FAQ
Can you machine exotic alloys?
Yes, we have extensive experience machining difficult, high-performance alloys, including various grades of Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Nickel superalloys like Inconel. These materials require specialized tooling and expertise, so please contact us for a manual quote.
Can you provide material traceability and inspection reports?
Absolutely. We understand that traceability is critical in the oil and gas industry. We can provide full material certifications (MTRs) and detailed CMM inspection reports to ensure your components meet all required quality and safety standards.
Do you offer any special testing, like pressure testing?
While we do not perform functional testing like pressure testing in-house, we work closely with our clients and can ship parts to a certified testing facility of your choice to validate performance before final delivery.
